EnergyFlex partners with several energy retailers to provide you with energy insights. However, if you can’t find your energy retailer when adding your property, it may be because they are not CDR compliant, and we’re unable to work with them.
If you found your energy retailer but are unable to add your property to EnergyFlex, there could be several reasons for this:
- Delay with your data: Occasionally, it may take longer than expected for your energy retailer to connect your account. If you encounter an error while connecting, please wait a bit and try again. If the issue persists after 24 hours, there may be an underlying problem.
- Different account email address or phone number: To add your property to EnergyFlex, make sure to enter the email address or phone number associated with your energy plan. Your energy retailer will send a one-time password (OTP) to this contact information to verify your identity.
- Data mismatch: If you receive your OTP (one-time password) but encounter an error when submitting it, your energy retailer may be unable to uniquely identify your account. This often occurs if your login credentials and contact details don’t match, or if you have multiple accounts with the retailer (e.g., a gas account) with different dates of birth. If this happens, you may need to contact your energy retailer for assistance.
