The Consumer Data Right (CDR) is a legislative framework that lets you choose who you share your energy data with, in return for better products and services. It’s an opt-in service that gives you greater control over your data, along with more choice and convenience.
When you let us access your CDR data, we’re able to make personalised suggestions on how you can optimise renewable energy based on your electricity use patterns. By implementing these suggestions, you can save money and reduce your carbon footprint.
CDR data includes:
- Data relating to your meter number, or National Metering Identifier (NMI), including meter type, location, network tariffs, usage times, and amount of electricity used;
- Personal information, including your name, entity type, and contact details;
- Billing data and generic and tailored tariff data; and
- Information about installed solar panels, batteries, and other energy generation capabilities.
For more information about CDR, visit the CDR website.
Our CDR processes and compliance are facilitated by Adatree, an accredited CDR service provider. You can access Adatree’s CDR Policy here.
